#writingProcrastination is the curse of many writers: me in particular. I have a book draft that I want to return to. I'm using narrative nonfiction to tell the stories of neighbors in a small corner of a New Hampshire town.

Responding to EDubya's 2 day old comment got me thinking. A couple of hours later I came back and now have 3 pages of scribblings that might turn into 4 or 5 good paragrpahs and might even become the forward to this book.

I've written a thesis (i.e. an almost book-length manuscript) for my Masters of Fine Arts. I've done a few more interviews, turning up more interesting info, and have hand written/first drafted some changes to several chapters. However, sitting down to type and to write in depth - well, that's where I'm failing.
One example of what I've come up with: I recently received translations of letters sent home to New Ipswich from Soviet Karelia, north of Leningrad. During the Great Depression, a local family joined the little known movement to settle there and create a "worker's paradise." The letters describe how all that turned sour.

Having problems with Zealog's entries.

Have you ever tried the NaNoWriMo? I started it one time. I think I got to maybe 1000 out of 50,000. :/
