Still alive. Barely. It's definitely a combined sinus and chest cold today. I start wondering how many consecutive days you can take Zicam before it starts poisoning you. There's blood in my snot now. I've been sleeping really well with the Comtrex, so there's that.
I wonder why there's not a website where you can log your cold/flu symptoms to compare them with others', and then I remember Edub saying something about a website that allows you to track things. Enter my symptoms. Realize that I've always hated journaling.
Woke up with a really bad hangover, despite the Poutine. Realized that I got scammed by Comtrex - you take the day-time ones every four hours, but the night time one every 8. You do the math. Phlegm starts spreading to my chest. I went to band practice anyway. My band-mate was complaining of clogged ears. Heh.
Still felt like shit, but went out anyway. Skipped dinner. Dungen was really good, but I wished I had been well enough to have been on acid for it. Or at least stoned, for fuck's sake. Went to Cha-Cha club afterwards. Drank 3 whiskeys on the rocks. Ate fries as a preemptive hangover cure before bed at 3:30.
More of the same, but worse. Finished the Tylenol Cold. Went to a weird pharmacy (I think it was a Rexall), where they had unfamiliar brands. Bought Comtrex in a pack which has 10 each of day-time and night-time formulations. (The "non-drowsy" day-time formula knocks me out). Went to bed at 9:30.
