I wasn't sure exactly what it was, it did look kind of like a bandicoot. I was worried about it because it seemed disorientated - it was wondering across a road in bright street lights with traffic passing every minute. It did make it to the other side but I don't know what happened after that.
Spotting wild animals actually being wild animals always makes me really happy! Feel free to share your wild critter sightings too. Changing log again - now critters is actual number of critters.

Yes I live in Queensland. :) I love being in certain places at dusk where they flock together to roost, the noise is incredible.

some Rainbow Lorikeets have been hanging out at our house, eating umbrella tree flowers. It's nice because they don't come here very often.
