I used to play. You can be a paladin, and it is party-like not strategy-like. Warcraft is a strategy game, but World of Warcraft is a regular MMO, just like EQ and all the others.
I have no idea if you can be a paladin in WoW, I haven't played it since you had to choose to be human or orc and it was strategy-like, not party-like.
