tried going to bed early but the huge glass of water I guzzled at bedtime woke me up and I couldn't get back to sleep. grr

I keep track by noticing what time it is when I finally stop reading or what ever and then try to just guesstimate when I'm awake and what not. Usually, I just count start to finish, even if I wake.

That said, I don't sleep nearly enough.

But at some point around dawn I began thrashing around and noticed I was grinding my teeth. Not good. Wish I could just stop being so stressed out, it's cutting into bedtime peace! Been waking up totally unrefreshed.

well last night I had about 5 hours...and then a sort of nap with my son that was about an hour I think. But it wasn't really sleeping. But it wasn't being awake either. So would I count it as 6 hours or 5? Maybe I'll put 5.5...yeah I think that's how I'll do that one.

YES! A full 8. But I kept waking up all night long, was a very restless sleep. Still, I feel better than usual today.

Yeah, that is a gray area, isn't it. I wonder if we can plug in estimates? (Like "6-7.5 hours"?)

I guess it doesn't have to be perfect but we can note trends over time. (And add those details to the notes.)

I never feel like I get enough sleep. So I'm going to find out by keeping track. Then if I am not sleeping enough I will work on fixing it (heh) and if I am getting enough and am still tired I'll know to check out other reasons why I'm so tired!
