Rock Climbing Expenses
#climbTracking the costs associated with our new hobby to see if we break even on two different fronts: whether to buy our gear ($120/person up front) or rent it each time ($6.50/visit per person) and whether to join the gym ($135 initiation + $110/mo. for a family membership) or just pay the drop-in rate ($17/visit per person). Purchases, class fees, and member dues will be listed as negatives while each visit will be listed as a positive (representing the money saved by not renting gear and paying the drop-in rate). Perks like free visitor passes for friends will also be added to the "break-even" total.
