@bertha aaron reads more tech stuff than anyone I know, then he does online tutorials and watches/listens to tech podcasts ALL THE TIME. Luckily, he just doesn't sleep, so he has time for Entertainment Weekly or the occasional David Sedaris book.
i haven't grabbed a new 'fun' book yet ... it's hard because every day i don't read something 'technical' ... i feel that i'm falling even further behind at work and in my career ... bleah!
Finished Gore Vidal's book this morning on the light rail ... it was okay. The time space continuum theme was a little confusing at time ... I enjoyed more of the political themes of the book. Can't say I'd recommend it. Time to hit the freebie shelf again at work.
I actually read a little "When You Are Engulfed in Flames" last night. The problem with reading actual books is that those damn Entertainment Weekly's come EVERY WEEK.
i miss reading fiction. have been immersed in tech books, writing instruction, and other odds n ends. plus i'm one of those people that reads 3-4 books all at the same time. so i'm going to pair it down to 1 tech/whatever book & 1 reading for enjoyment book at a time. keyword: focus.
Every time i look at a facebook profile that shows all the books someone has read ... i kick myself for not getting to the library and picking up a fun book to read. TECH books are not allowed!! This one is for pure fun ... no geeking out!
