Super Slimdown
#slimdownBegun June 1, 2008. I tried the South Beach plan and was successful (18 pounds lost). But then I got complacent. And heavier. My continuing effort to lighten the load. Join in the fun! // This is how I summarize the South Beach rules. Eat lots of veggies and salad, cheese and eggs, moderate portions of meat. Small portions of whole grains. Avoid the white versions of things (flour, sugar, rice). Red wine is permitted. Potatoes and beer are the devil.

So far I have cheated with two beers, Cheetohs, and numerous extra string cheese sticks. Not all at once. Or even in the same day. Hopefully the scale will bring more good news in the a.m.

I try really hard to figure things out for myself, but I haven't been able to find the place to enter a baseline value as suggested by Sara.

The way I do my weight loss graph is to set the baseline to the amount of weight I want to lose, say 20 pounds, and count down from there. Then I enter a number in relation to that - 19 if I've lost a pound from my start weight, etc.

There are currently issues with negative numbers. We're working on it, though.

It looks like I need to rethink my unit of measure. The negative number doesn't show.
