dream a little dream
zzzzzzz. log the quality/intensity of deeper sleep. being an insomniac, it's important when i get my dream on. 1-5: 1 meaning that you barely think you remember something/someone, 5 meaning you're lucid, kicking major ass, and/or flying. this all applies to nightmares, too.

had another one of my famous tooth loss dreams. very brief, and i don't remember what happened before i realized that my teeth were crumbling from the bottom, up. reoccurring dream for over 10 years, the teeth usually just come out, one by one, unfortunately leaving bloody mess... that i am never stunned about w/i the dream but would freak the living shit out of me in waking life.

I had an awesome dream last night. It was a weird combination between being in a real world star wars situation with mostly benevolent aliens and watching my large size child (10) as a five year old competing in Star Wars themed double dare. Another part of it was watching video of my daughter at about 18 months old when she magically was real at 18 months old and I got to hang out with her and her older brother as much younger kids. It was so much incredible fun. Now, it makes me cry to think about it.

was stuck in these pre-fab 70's apartment buildings, packing to move (though i kept trying to find out where). i knew i was dreaming, but didn't push it like i did the last few times. smells of old apartment buildings, moldy carpet, etc were annoyingly unavoidable. seemed busy moving stuff around (felt like hours). then all of a sudden my childhood friend john shows up, and starts telling me about his "tattoos", which are really just black, messy sharpie drawings. as i focused in on one of them, i woke up.

all of a sudden i heard my name called, and then i realized that i was being called up on stage for the price is right. running up towards the front of the room, my formerly lucid dreaming self said, "hey, what the fuck is bob barker doing up there?"

The weirdest dream. I have to give a little exposition. Just before going to bed, I started reading Aaron's copy of "If you are engulfed in flames". The first thing talks about how Hugh's mom had a parasitic worm in her leg about a million years ago. Blah blah blah. It was very funny, then I fell asleep.
So I am totally tormented by a dream where I have these tiny holes in the palm of my hand where parasitic worms are living and I have to cover them with vaseline so the worms will poke out and then I can squeeze the skin and make them come all the way out like a pimple. THEN, I have to work on getting the handful of weird brown worms out of the holes which is much harder. All the while, in my dream, I am aware I am dreaming, but thinking that in real life I only have two of these gross little things on my palm instead of the dozen or so in my dream. *le sigh* I woke up like every half hour for the last few hours I was sleeping because I was so grossed out.
