I bought an elliptical on Black Friday with a 4-year service plan for $720 (I don't know how to fix magnets). I get free access to my fiancé's gym at Electronic Arts, but that requires roughly an extra hour of time (20 minutes each way plus an extra shower b/c there's no way I can do it in the morning) which usually isn't there. In order to justify the purchase, I'm counting how many times I use the thing. Figuring on a gallon of gas (~20 miles round trip) at $3 plus the intangible value of an hour saved and I'm going to call the elliptical experiment a success if I use it 150 times (~$5 per workout).
