I've done elliptical and stationary bike. Both are good for weight loss. I'm looking for weight loss combined with specific muscle strength (y'know for climbing mountains)
Do you ever try the eliptical? I find it a lot easier on my knees. That and I get really uncoordinated when I'm tired and tend to trip on stairmasters.

No way. I used to do an hour on the elliptical five days per week and I could bounce quarters off my ass. It's all about being consistent.

My problem is I find the elliptical trainer does nothing. Hours on there seems to be as effective for weight loss as sleeping.
