I always find that if I will put off doing chores - even if there aren't many - because I can't get started. If I just say, "I'm going to do this for exactly 10 minutes" I get a ton done and will frequently keep going. Inertia is incredibly powerful.
Congratulate yourself every time you get off your fat ass and do some chores around the house. No one else appreciates it, so we can feel appreciated together here! I only count chores I hate doing, but your chore hatred may vary.

yeah i don't mind it much, doesn't really feel like a chore. Chores are the things I hate doing that no-one appreciates or notices (snif!)
