1 wine bottle paper bag because I was going into the grocery store next door, where I then put the wine and groceries in the big cloth bag that I took along.
You know, girl-bagging-my-grocieries, I wouldn't have handed you my own reusable bags if I had wanted you to swaddle my dozen eggs and 3 vine-on tomatoes in plastic bags of their very own.
The liquor store double plastic bags when we get BOOZE for the office. I have suggested that we get some office reusable bags, because this just drives me nuts!
Whoops. Should have grabbed my Chico Bag from my drawer for my unplanned stop at Marshall's. It wads up into its little pouch, I should just always take it along.
One of my resolutions for 2009 is to use fewer plastic bags. I'm going to put the zillion or so canvas totes I own in my car and travel with them. I'm thinking that knowing just how many bags I waste in a year might be just the catalyst I need.
