2008 Plum Jam Production
#plumMy tree - it goes ripe all at once and no mere human could possibly eat that many plums. Nor even SEVERAL mere humans. Thus, I boil it and add heaps of sugar and confine it into small jars where it lives in my cupboard until next year at which point I frantically start foisting it off to make room for the new crop...

I...eat it. I give it to friends and family to eat. I am told it makes an excellent glaze for meat, in addition to the typical uses for jam. We often use it as an ice cream topping.

If the fruit is delicious fresh, the jam is hardly likely to suck. ;P I would definitely do it if you like the flavor of the yellow plums to start with.
