Turns out I was able to get in some more steps at home...updated entry to 4764 steps. Not bad...only about 500 less than yesterday when I made a point to go for a walk.
Seriously! I made a point to go for a walk around campus during my long break today, and what a difference it made! An added bonus: a colleague needed to talk with me, so she came along. And, she's been having severe back problems and walking is good for her back. Benefits galore! :)

Today is my first day of keeping track. I was curious to see how many steps I take on a typical day, and clearly I'm not getting enough. I think I can manage to add in another 1,000 tomorrow, though.
